The purpose of this document is to advise the public that NCCOS/CSCOR/COP is soliciting proposals for coastal hypoxia research. NCCOS/CSCOR/COP is soliciting research proposals for projects of 2 to 5 years in duration for the development of modeling tools and information which will be used by resource managers to assess alternative management strategies and make informed decisions regarding hypoxia in U.S. coastal waters. Funding is contingent upon the availability of Fiscal Year Federal appropriations. It is anticipated that final recommendations for funding under this announcement will be made in early Calendar Year.Who can apply:
